Workshop: We Love Lilies

Join Rogerson Clematis Garden Curator Linda Beutler for an impassioned presentation of the true lilies, the genus Lilium, their horticultural groups, garden uses, and clonal propagation. After some powerpoint inspiration, attendees will have the chance to “scale” lily bulbs to develop lily bulblets. They will also have the opportunity to see the end result of this form of propagation, so they will know what to do once they get their bag of scales home.

Attendees will leave with informational handouts, 2-3 ziplock bags with lily scales in coir fiber, 1-2 small pots of planted bulblets, and a full-sized bulb in a 1-gal. pot..

Ticket prices: HPSO members: $75 | Non-members: $85
