Garden Travel broadens your horizons

For a few decades now, HPSO members have been roaming the globe together through tours built by our experienced, volunteer tour escorts and produced and offered by professional tour agencies. International destinations have included:  New Zealand, Australia, Japan, France, Spain, England, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Japan – just to name a few. Domestic destinations have included: New England, Brandywine Valley, the Northwest, and California. In short, the breadth of destinations are as varied as the Tour Escorts’ interests and expertise.

All HPSO members are offered exclusive notice and eligibility to sign up for these dream destinations for the gardener. Typically tours are announced 6 to 9 months in advance. Destinations in 2026 so far include:

  • England: Glorious Gardens and Iconic Landmarks, May 18 - 26, 2026. This tour is full but the waitlist is open.
  • Denmark: Gardens You Won't Find in Guidebooks, August 13 - 21, 2026
