Nandy Mason – Membership Services Specialist

Nandy has been an enthusiastic member of the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon since 2022. Originally from Bayamón, Puerto Rico, he moved to Portland in 1986 and has called it home ever since. With over 35 years of experience in customer service, most recently with the Oregon Judicial Department at the Multnomah County Courthouse, Nandy brings a warm, people-first approach to his role with HPSO. He is passionate about helping others and is always happy to assist HPSO members with their questions and needs. 

When he’s not supporting members, Nandy likes spending time with his husband and can often be found tending to his garden, where he specializes in tropical and southern hemisphere plants. He has a particular love for orchids, palms, grevilleas, and koi fish.
