Winterbrook Farm

Winterbrook Gardens Come and visit our 37 acres that include a 30 year old dendroscape with 300 specimen trees, close in gardens surrounding main house, and natural landscape including large pond, mature NW forest, and a wild creek. You can meet the gps guided robot lawn mower named Leo (Leonardo). You can view a nearly complete (construction started in July) hardscape with large reflecting pool and new fountain. Mixed border gardens surround the house with perennials, shrubs and subshrubs. We are transitioning areas to Mediterranean garden focus (channeling Olivier Filippi) with a 2 year old garden surrounding a bubbler and a separate bermed gravel mulched garden, being planted as we write. The areas around the reflecting pool are featuring “steppables”, being installed. Come and visit this year and then follow the garden as it grows and matures in these areas. The trees will be spectacular for autumn foliage. We will be open early to allow enjoyment of the special morning light. At 10 am we will offer a tour (if any interest) of the wilder areas. Also, the mostly labelled specimen trees, spread over 20 acres with some mown paths, can be wandered by the adventurous. In summary, we feel that our garden is currently in the midst of significant turmoil and change, and look forward to sharing our vision for its future with you.
