Vicki Pflaumer Garden

This is an English Cottage Garden in Irvington. Wear your spike heels to aerate the clay. A helmet may be advantageous to avoid the dive-bombing hummingbirds. The slugs will be taking naps around their hostas. My 24-year planning goal was a garden for all seasons with a variety of long-blooming flowers, beautiful foliage, and herbs. It features 46 award-winning plants from American Horticulture Society, PPAP Selections, and Royal Horticultural Society. Garden transformations evolve with helleborus in February, bulbs in March, viburnum in April, rhodies in May, roses in June, fragrance in summer, Crepe Myrtle in August, and Camellia sasanqua in November. Enjoy brochures on plant combinations and the garden’s evolution. Best of all, food will be available.
