New things happening this year include a new patio by the pond with some extra planting areas. Everything is a mixed bag of shrubs, perennials and grasses. There is a dedicated vegetable growing space with blueberries as well as a small greenhouse. There’s a large collection of sempervivums in pots as well as well as the occasional grass or two. The hellstrip is a sink or swim series of trial plants and spring bulbs which seem to have become used to the heat-and-little -water attitude I take. Bird feeders and glass accents abound as well as hanging baskets.
