Situated just a few blocks from the ocean and one block from Hwy. 101, the Connie Hansen Garden is an unexpected urban coastal oasis comprising over an acre of lush and abundant plantings of ornamental flowering trees and shrubs, hundreds of magnificent rhododendrons and azaleas, and curving beds filled with perennial and annual flowers. Pathways, some handicapped accessible, wind throughout the garden, over bridges that cross the meandering stream, and by beds showcasing collections of iris, primula, heather and dwarf conifers. The Garden is open daily year-round from dawn to dusk free of charge. The Garden House is open and hosted on Tuesdays from 10-2 year-round and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10-2 from March through November.
