Our two acres hold three gardens: an Asian-inspired garden in the front that includes giant bamboo, ponds and koi, old firs, sequoias, camelias, and woodland perennials and foliage plants; a fenced yard and border garden behind the house with sun lovers and ornamental trees; and vegetables, berries, fruit trees and play space beyond the gates. We are Willamette Valley dwellers, and have coordinated our open garden with neighbor Laura Eyer's open garden to offer contrast and a 'two-fer' the price of one drive!
