Joanne Fuller’s garden

This tiny shaded urban oasis garden went through a transformation in 2020. The front garden was completely redone with a mix of treasured plants from the previous design and great new additions. Each of the three tiers contain unusual plants that mingle to create an exciting tapestry. This garden is designed to provide interest and bloom from the dead of winter to summer. The back garden is small and bold with a mix of art and tropical elements from around the world. This garden teaches us that big leaves, big elements and large plants in small spaces definitely work. Serious garden art, sculptural elements, a Buddhist altar, and little tiki bar create an alternatingly serene and fun experience all summer and fall.
