This garden, developed since 2006, includes year-round structure and an interesting mix of trees, shrubs and perennials, many uncommon. The front garden, partially shaded, is at its peak in late spring, while a naturalistic planting in the back garden has a long season of interest and includes approximately 100 species of flowering perennials, grasses, bulbs and annuals - many highly attractive to pollinators - in a relatively small space. Drought-tolerant plants are used extensively. Hardscaping and water features are simple, and gravel is used extensively. A separate vegetable garden featuring raised beds and potted fruit trees is wheelchair accessible.
