Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens

A woodland garden on the Sacramento River featuring native plants, Asian woodland plants, a native rock garden plus annual and perennial flower beds. Rhododendrons and Western Dogwoods in peak bloom from late April thru May. Being a public park & garden there are public restrooms, picnic tables, children play swings, a large lawn area and access to fishing in the Sacramento River along a river trail. Dogs allowed on leashes only.
