Our little house was built in 1894 on a small city lot which is packed with garden textures. The delighting upstairs deck looks down onto our charming potting shed patio, which houses most of the tender tropical & xeric-type plants in the winter. There are lots of containers, collected from Doreen's travels brimming with the tropicals. Those who've visited the garden call it an oasis in the city, noting that we are pretty gardened into our lot. 2018, our back shade garden became a sun garden so come take a look at what's growing now. Perhaps take in a little wine tasting on your way here. Argyle Winery is right on Hwy 99, its garden created by plantsmen Sean Hogan, it's a delight to stroll. The McMinnville Garden Club has their Open Garden Day on Sunday, June 27th, 2021, so come spend the day! There'll be a plant fair, (I hope), just 2 blocks from the house & we'll have something refreshing waiting here for you, (if allowed)... and a restroom!
