Dawn Gardens is a demonstration garden for California gardeners that is 12 acres with 8 acres landscaped at the present time. There are many types of ornamental grasses, perennials, bulbs, 150 roses, 5 ponds and connecting creek and 10 other water features. The Rhododendron garden, heather garden, spiral garden, rock garden, fruit orchard, vegetable garden, and fern garden are beautiful in their season. Best months: March to view the 50,000 Daffodils; April & May for the Rhododendrons and 150 Roses; June for the Lilies and perennials; November for the grasses and fall color.
