Step back into history and into the country when visiting Creekside Cottage Garden. The cottage, framed by the garden, was built in 1930, and although just minutes off I-5, it is located on a large lot with a creek and beautiful large trees. With sunny, partly-sunny and shady areas, the garden is situated on 3/4 of an acre on Carter Creek. There are 100+ clematis and all their friends, including roses, hardy geraniums, irises of many types, and lots and lots of lilies. In June, clematis, early perennials and lilies are the stars. In August, clematis, dahlias and asters are in bloom and the annual cutting garden is full of cosmos, zinnias, annual baby's breath, and nicotianas. Two raised veggie beds round out this garden's usefulness and charm.
