Our 3/4-acre artist's garden combines a Japanese aesthetic with the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The garden includes a large semi-wooded area out front interspersed with conifers, azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias, Japanese maples and northwest natives. A shady contemplation garden separates the artist's studio from the house. Behind the house are a vegetable, perennial/flower, and kitchen garden. The back gardens also include berry patches, a rose bed, and a few closely-spaced dwarf fruit trees. Water management features include a sunken gravel patio and a rain garden. A green roof covers the art studio (which will also be open). Boulders and rock formations unify the property. We invite you to come explore and enjoy!
