Moderation went out my window decades ago, but in my garden, well, I keep telling myself to stop the egregious expansion but my advice falls on deaf ears. In the last six years, I've created six new gardens in the pasture and expanded two of the existing ones to nearly double their original size. I couldnt help myself; there were so many plants I wanted to grow that needed more sun than my shade garden could afford. If you make the not-such-a-long trek out my way youll see: succulents, maples, hostas, hydrangeas, species rhododendrons, conifers, old concrete pots and statuary, fountains, bird baths, iron sculptures and gates, a bronze goat-headed urn, antique Mexican gargoyles...Shall I go on or will you just come see for yourself?
