Our garden was created in 2008 . The previous owners used the back yard to park cars and it mostly consisted of a gravel lot with some lawn. With a big family in mind we put in a pool and used the excavated dirt to form our beds around the perimeter. Our hardscaping budget has always been small, so borders have all been made with recycled concrete and rocks and we try to repurpose things as much as possible.The garden has gone through numerous changes over the years and now has a great blend of specimens trees, fruit trees, unusual evergreens and perennials. This is a 4-season garden and we are constantly working on adding 4 season interest, focusing on foliage texture.
