This is a small urban garden in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood. Part of the garden is in shade, and most of the native plants I grow are in the shade garden. In the sunny parts of the garden, I have raised vegetable beds and I like to grow colorful heirloom vegetables. The bird feeders bring in many birds. There are also garden art pieces, both funky items from thrift stores and pieces from local artists. This garden is now certified as backyard habitat. Since it is only a few blocks from Portland Nursery's Stark Street location, please consider combining trips and making an appointment.
