Selected Book Reviews

Members may check items out and may use reference books for research purposes at the office. The library's hours coincide with those of the office, MWF noon-5:00 p.m. Summer hours are noon-4 p.m.

Materials include over a thousand books, plus periodicals, CDs, DVDs, and videos. The collection is broad in scope, but includes a focus on gardening in the Pacific Northwest. In order to make the library as user-friendly as possible, the materials utilize the following subject categories:

100s - Non-gardening subjects
200s - Earth sciences
300s - Botany, nomenclature, plant hunters, and botanists
400s - Specific aspects of gardening, including weeds, pests, and lawns
500s - General gardening
600s - Specific plants
700s - Garden history, garden design, and designers
800s - Essays and other garden literature
900s - Garden travel
