Association of Northwest Landscape Designers, a professional organization that was created over 25 years ago for landscape designers in Oregon and Washington. The group's purpose is to provide a forum where landscape designers can network, learn, and encourage one another in their professional pursuits.

Friends of Tryon Creek State Park, in collaboration with Oregon State Parks, strive to provide world-class interpretive and educational experiences to visitors of the park; act as a natural history resource to families, teachers and students throughout the Portland Metro-region; enrich the health of visitors of all ages by maintaining trails for walkers, bikers, and horseback-riders; and are a leader and partner in the protection, restoration and conservation of this park and the watershed it resides within.

Portland Metro, elected regional government, manages more than 12,000 acres of parks and natural areas including more than 100 miles of river and stream banks. These lands protect water quality and provide habitat to fish and wildlife. From Oxbow Regional Park to Chinook Landing to Smith and Bybee Wetlands, Metro welcomes more than half a million visitors to its parks each year.

Naturescaping for Clean Rivers. Naturescaping is landscaping that allows people and nature to coexist. By incorporating native plants into your yard, you can attract insects, birds, and other creatures and help keep Portland's rivers and streams healthy.

Portland Classical Chinese Garden, dedicated to cultivating an oasis of tranquil beauty and harmony to inspire, engage, and educate our global community in the appreciation of a richly authentic Chinese culture.

Friends of Portland Community Gardens, providing gardening opportunities for the physical and social benefit of the people and neighborhoods of Portland since 1975. There are 30 community gardens located throughout the city, developed and operated by volunteers and PP&R staff, offering a variety of activities.

The Oregon Garden, an 80-acre botanical garden and tourist attraction in Silverton, Oregon. Opened in 1999, the garden includes a variety of plant species and habitats and the only Frank Lloyd Wright home in Oregon. The garden is owned by the non-profit Oregon Garden Foundation, with the facility open every day except major holidays. Additionally, it hosts community events and concerts and provides educational outreach programs.
